This review may come a bit late, but I feel it’s important to share the outstanding care my paralyzed dog has received from Dr. Mondschein, lead vet tech Natalie and the incredible team at the Heights veterinary clinic. From the very first assessment post-spinal surgery, I knew we were in good hands.

Dr. M's expertise and compassion were evident at the first visit. My pups personalized treatment plan included laser therapy, acupuncture, and water treadmill sessions, which made a noticeable difference in his quality of life; all available right at the Heights! Each water therapy session was handled with utmost care by Natalie, who was always patient, attentive, and caring.

What truly sets this veterinary team apart is their incredible support and responsiveness. Even now, months after our initial visits, I can always count on them to quickly address any needs or concerns regarding my special needs dog. It’s comforting to know that my dog is not just a patient, but truly cared for like a family member.

Took our baby Calypso for her first vet visit since we adopted her! Everything was a breeze, from making an appointment, check in, and the check-up.
The vet-tech and vet were absolutely lovely and made Cal & us feel very cared for! There was even cat nip and a toy for her to be relaxed. Our poor floofy had a mild ear infection, she cleaned her ears and applied a medication. They checked to make sure it wasn’t ear mites. I loved how upfront they were about the costs and never felt pressured to spend more.
Since we loved the service we even got an appointment for our chunky tabby! We have a check up coming and we are happy to go.
Will be recommending this lovely place to more people. Every one there is an animal lover and a sweetheart! 🐱🐶🩺🥼

Best vet and staff in the area. We drive 25 miles each way passing other clinics. Nobody even comes close to the care we get at the Heights! 10/10

I didn’t have a primary vet for our dog, we have just been taking them to humane society clinic every 6 months for medicine and updated vaccines. We had an emergency with our dog this week, and decided to call this office since it’s close to our house. They weren’t able to get us in yesterday, but David, spoke with me on the phone about my dog and it was very helpful. Calming and reassuring. I wasn’t able to physically bring her into this office yesterday, but going forward we will be making this our primary vet. It was really refreshing that experience! Thank you David- you’re too kind!

Very happy with the service. They were punctual and kind to my animal. front office staff is professional and helpful. The only thing I have mixed feelings about is having them take my dog to a separate room to give shots, etc.

Recently relocated to Tampa and my beautiful kitty, Ms. Fuzzy, was due for her annual exam and shots. So happy I chose The Heights Vet. Dr. Haworth and the entire team are a pleasure and super caring to my fur baby. Also loved that the Doc gave me a "report card" listing details of Ms. Fuzzy's physical. That was a first!

We love The Heights Vet!! we started coming here after adopting a new puppy and we had a lot of anxiety having recently lost an old dog who had a lot of health issues. We have always felt heard and cared for here and they are so nice to our crazy baby! We love that it’s always clean and quiet and we’ve never had issues getting an appointment in time. It’s been almost two years and still no regrets. Highly recommend!

Dr. Mondshein saved my dog’s life!

My Australian Shepherd is nearing 16 years old. He has suffered from arthritis for the last few years and my prior vet claimed there was nothing thing that could be done for him.

I left that vet over extreme neglect by my prior vet when they let her die in their offices without so much as bothering to walk in the room for over 30 minutes. But I digress…

I thought my dog, Mojo, was just suffering to even stand up so I took him to Dr. Mondschein to have him put to sleep.

Dr. Mondschein took one look and told me there were options. Without leaving the room, he gave me three levels of options. He said each was more likely to work than the last but we should go through them progressively to see where Mojo’s symptoms subsided.

The first treatment was nearly a miracle cure! My dog is still nearly sixteen so I don’t expect him to be running around but his signs of pain are largely gone!

Dr. Mondschein’s patience, knowledge and expertise gave me my dog back. He won’t live forever (sadly) but he will live largely pain free for the rest of his days, thanks to this great vet!!!

Thank you to the entire Heights staff for being so welcoming and generous in my time of need. I will always be happy to bring my pets to this wonderful veterinary clinic!
