From my initial phone call to Robin for information & to schedule, Josh for taking the time to do an extensive intake /evaluation, to Bailey's (5 months old) trainer Jeremy, the customer service was top notch.
Jeremy' s interaction with Bailey was a game changer. He treated her like it was his own puppy. He helped her to be confident and aware with such a noticeable transformation in a short period of time.
Now it's time to train myself.

We could not recommend Dog Wizard and Leana more! We are expecting our first child and had some behavioral things we wanted to work with Harlow on. We decided on the two week board and train. While it felt like a lot of money initially, the results are priceless. Harlow is much more confident and so are we in how to manage situations that previously were stressful for both her and us. Leana kept us updated with images, videos, and texts that kept my husband and I excited to see the updates every evening! We are thankful to Leana for all she did for our family.

The entire experience with The Dog Wizard has been good, but the really great part is Liz, our trainer. Liz came to our home on Longboat Key weekly for 5 weeks, training our beloved Maverick & Chloe.
Liz is so awesome at making you feel at ease about the sessions and explains what’s she doing every step of the way.
I can’t recommend Dog Wizard enough if you are looking to love you pet to the fullest and to experience full joy with them by having them obey. I will be forever grateful for our time with Liz and the staff. Highly recommend their services.

Liz Colon is an exceptional dog trainer who I highly recommend! Liz is so passionate about what she does, very professional, and always takes time to provide guidance on different training techniques to ensure our fur baby's success. Liz came to our house for five weeks and worked with both of our Chow Chows (Bodhi 11 mths old. and Kahlua 4 mths old) on the Basic Foundation program. We will continue to go to the weekly support training to keep working on socialization and to reinforce the training techniques we received. Liz was phenomenal with us and our reactive girl, Lieba. Lieba is our 7 year old stubborn shepherd husky mix. Although she is extraordinarily loving with people she knows, she had been showing signs of reactivity/aggression toward some unfamiliar dogs, people, and object since she was 3 years old. We decided to get a puppy (Theo) and assumed Lieba would be okay as shes been okay with puppies in the past. Sadly we were wrong! Although Theo loved Lieba, she did not like him and would lunge appearing to attack him. With Liz’s expert support in a 8 week in home private session program, Lieba’s confidence and listening has grown tremendously. We learned how to communicate with her in the way she understands, and its built her respect for us as her “pack leader.” We are now starting to take Lieba in public places and are working on improving her anxiety even more. Best of all, Lieba and Theo are now best friends!! They play, sleep, and cuddle together. They are practically inseparable, refusing to go outside in the backyard without each other. We are so grateful for Liz’s skill, authority with dogs, and humor! We are forever grateful!

We also boarded Theo for a 2 week board and train, and Leanna did an excellent job as his trainer! His jumping on people, trying to bolt out of the door, and basic obedience commands improved tremendously. Theo is a very friendly dog and LOVED his time with other dogs. We are super grateful for the weekend classes included in our package that are available to us after both of their training programs. Thank you Dog Wizard!

We recently had our golden retriever, Boz in the 2 week program. His trainer Emily was fantastic with him… and with us! She provided so many tools for us to tap into in order to make our relationship with Boz even more enjoyable. He is a big strong boy that we can finally manage on walks which is huge for us! The lifetime support The Dog Wizard provides was a deciding factor in our decision. It was the best investment we could’ve made for Boz’s safety and happiness. I cannot say enough good about the Sarasota dog wizard, the trainers are fantastic and great to be around, but I am speechless for everything Emily has done for our pup. Ghost was sick from the day that we bought him and developing bad habits as the main thing we were focused on was his health. When we brought Ghost to Emily I was not sure how he would come back to us - let’s say it was worth every penny! Emily did not let me go with questions unanswered for even an hour, provided me with updates throughout the day, and truly take care of my boy. I am excited to continue working with him and everything she has taught us, we are also looking forward to having a support family for life!
