I am thrilled with the training results for my Great Dane puppy! Cory is extremely patient with both me and my dog. We made very good progress without any "punishment", using a reward system instead. Cory has the easy going mindset that I needed. I developed confidence with my dog while knowing that I'm allowed to have fun. Raven is a reactive Dutch x akita and loves to protect and mimic energy coming his way either good or bad. Cory taught me Ravens way of thinking and dealing with situations. He introduced me to some great people in Grassroots all over and also bitework and scent tracking. Even though he's far from Canada, bummer, he's always readily available to answer and help me with any training. Cory not only helped me with my dog, but also helped me with my sons Dockdogs fundraiser which got him to go to the world championship. Grassroots also provided my son with a sponsorship!
Grassroots is all about getting things done and growing as a family in all the communities. Cory you're missed here!

After interviewing several reputable trainers, we found Grassroots K9, located in Bradenton, Fl. Cory was awesome! Very knowledgeable, down to earth, and has the ability to connect with dogs on a different level. We watched our new puppy consistently improve in obedience with each passing day. We will be continuing our training with Cory so our Rottweiler puppy will grow into a model citizen.

We were at our wits end with our very reactive and hyper dog and weren't quite sure where to turn. Grassroots K9 had an add that popped up on Facebook and we signed up. After a very tumultuous first lesson due to our out of control dog, we learned training tools and tips that by the second lesson we had a night and day difference in our dog that started the foundation to where we are now. Our dog is not recognizable to those who saw her on the first day of class because she is so well behaved and making huge strides! Highly recommend Cory and giving his classes a try. He provided answers and patience in a time we did not know where else to turn. We will 1000% continue to be using his lessons and classes to continue to build on what we have already learned for our dogs.

Cory has been such a wonderful help with our 5 year old Australian Cattle dog Cady. Cady is easily agitated with new situations, people and dogs. He is teaching us how to work with her so she is a better dog and we are better dog parents. We find his easy going teaching techniques and personality a joy to work with.
