My beloved 14-year-old Pit Bull, Karma, left me on March 8th, 2025. Belspur Oaks was the pet crematory that the vet used. I wanted a private cremation, and from what the receptionist at the vet's office told to me, all I expected back was "a very nice box". Surprisingly and gratefully, I received back much much more than that! What I received back was a total compilation of love! I am beyond thankful and appreciative for the care & respect that Belspur Oaks has given to Karma, but also the thought & empathy that they put into what they gave back to me! This beautiful etched wood box inside of a velvet drawstring bag with a touching quote was so much more than I expected, but when I opened their special gift to me of the ceramic heart with Karma's paw print, I was so touched. I will cherish that gift for the rest of my life. Needless to say, these past several days have been devastating with the loss of my best friend. The booklet that they included for me was not only so thoughtful, but so helpful! I don't feel like the words "Thank you" are good enough, but through my tears & grief as I write this, that's the best I can muster up at this moment. However, please know that I am SO thankful for you Belspur Oaks! ❤️

My baby girl of 14.5 years passed away from kidney failure. 😭😭😭 One of the hardest decisions that I had to make. The Vet Medical Center in Lakewood Ranch uses this place for her private cremation. When I went to pick up her ashes, I was pleasantly surprised that her ashes were in a nice wooden box (not in a plastic bag…this was how I got my friend’s human remains) and in a wine-colored velvet bag. That made me feel good that they handled my girl’s body and remains with respect and care.

We lost our beloved Great Dane Daisy on 11/29/22. We entrusted our vet to put her to sleep and have her cremated. I've been thru this process a few times before with 2 other Danes. Belspur Oaks' handling of the cremains exceeded my expectations. Daisy's urn is absolutely beautiful. I love that they handled everything with such care and compassion. They also include a booklet on grief and The Rainbow Bridge. I am so appreciative of their services.

I unfortunately had to put down my chocolate lab, Kai, last week at the Animal ER at UTC. They set up for Kai to be cremated with Belspur Oaks. I was so impressed with the presentation. The quality of the box is great. They also left me a certificate and a lovely card that brought me to tears. Kai was my best friend for 10 years & now she is with me forever! Your company delivered my dogs ashes with a piece of gray wire sticking out in the bag. It’s was very obvious and a disgusting display of your insensitivity and carelessness during a very sensitive time. Please choose another company if you want your pet to be cremated in a dignified way.

My dear dog passed away after 14 years as my significant other. My vet arranged for Belspur Oaks to take care of her cremation. When her ashes were returned, it was in a carved wooden box in a velvet bag with a variety of important materials on grieving. Thank you so much.. She went out first class.
